Kintyre Community Regeneration CIC is the operational partner of the Diamond Vault. While the CBS owns the buildings, the CIC is the “delivery” arm managing the day to day activity and physical transformation of the spaces.
Project Delivery:
Carrying out the physical refurbishment and repurposing of vacant or underused commercial properties.
Space Management:
Operating shared spaces, event areas, and “pop-up” shops to support start-ups, youth groups, and artists.
Skills & Training:
Collaborating with local bodies to provide volunteering and educational opportunities in conservation and sustainability.
Employment:
Creating local jobs and training opportunities through the construction and operational phases of projects.
Financial Model & Income Generation:
The CIC operates as a social enterprise with a “not for profit” structure:
Operational Contracts:
It is contracted by the Diamond Vault to manage and maintain the community owned assets.
Trading Income:
Revenue is generated through the delivery of services, events, and the management of affordable lettings.
Social Reinvestment:
Any surplus is used to improve facilities, support community participation, and provide free or subsidised space for charities and vulnerable groups.
